Karnack ISD sixth-grader Jakayla Warren was invited to recite the Maya Angelou poem, "Life Doesn't Frighten Me," at the annual Pearls and Tea fundraiser in Marshall to benefit the Ms. Juneteenth Pageant. Jakayla did an outstanding job! She was accompanimed by KISD teacher Jenelle Carpenter and KISD Communities in Schools representative Jackie Austin. Great job Jakayla! #WeAreKarnack
