Both Karnack track teams delivered strong performances at the Linden-Kildare Relays on Monday, March 10, with the Lady Indians securing third place overall and the Mighty Indians finishing in fourth place overall.
For the Lady Indians, Jada Davidson dominated the sprints, taking first place in the 100-meter dash and third place in the 200-meter dash, with Tabitha Porter finishing fourth and fifth in the respective events.
Addisyn Valeria captured third place in both the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run. The 4x100-meter relay team, consisting of Davidson, Porter, Valeria, and Grace Hayes, claimed first place with a strong performance.
Davidson also took fifth place in the long jump, while Porter placed sixth. In the field events, Cambrea Davidson dominated, earning first place in both the shot put and discus.
On the boys' side, the Mighty Indians were led by Trayvion Bedgood, who took first place in the 100-meter dash and long jump, and finished second in the 200-meter dash. Jaxton Davidson also placed seventh in the 100 meters and sixth in the 200 meters.
Jayden Everitt secured second place in the 400-meter dash and took first place in the 300-meter hurdles. In the distance events, Kyson Giles earned third place in the 2400-meter run. The Mighty Indians’ relay teams added to their success, with the 4x100-meter team of Bedgood, Everitt, Davidson, and Giles taking first place, and the same group finishing second in the 4x200-meter relay.
